Life's been kinda a mixed bag, and I don't want to end up seeming whiny. On the plus side, some things actually are going well for me, which is nice. Others aren't yet, but easily could be. On the downside, I still get sad when I see a blue car, and I have a shitload of work. Blah

Life is, apparently good. At least that's what they told us at the convocation. I suppose it is, I mean, I don't see why not? It could be worse, I still have my health.
Ah, but what I no longer have is my computer and my ipod among other things, most of which are far less consiquential. Socks too, which is odd. Turns out that while we were at the convocation, someone broke into my appartment and stole a lot of the expensive things, and made rather a mess of what wasn't taken. This is the day before classes, so I'm already stressed out by that, and that kinda put me about one tiny bad thing away from a nevous break down, but happily that didn't happen.
It's especially tough because I don't have Caro anymore, which is kinda a total bitch. I mean, she was a fairly large component of my support, and without that central pillar, the other bits just can't act like they should.
I guess what I'm trying to say here is Blah.
But life somehow goes on, and apparently it's good. Classes are at least interesting, and thusfar managable, although some of the calc homework was a pain in the ass, that's to be expected.
I dunno exactly what to make of all this, so I suppose I'll just leave it here and let you people make what you will of it.

So apparently I should update more. It's been weeks since my last update, and much longer since my last meaningful one. I've been up to a lot, most of which I won't discribe because my attention will wander before I get to it.
I've been playing a lot of Mario Kart with Caro recently. We've beaten most of it, excepting Special and All cups in Mirror mode. I figure once we get Special, All's just kind of a pain in the ass to get all the way through.
I've also been having tons of sucess with KoL. I'm level 9 with only 8 days on this run, and I've gotten my Moxie to 135 from 80, which is really good. It means I probably won't need reagents in the castle, which is good.
Anyhow, that's a random update of the games I play, but I suspect if you're reading this you might actually care what I've been up to. It isn't a whole lot. I've been working with EDA still, and doing things around the house. My brother got his liscence yesterday, which is going to make my life easier, or so I hope. At least it makes him much less my problem. I haven't been able to get into Guard Up recently since our contrat expired and it's been tough to get dad home in time to go talk to them. He's been working late a lot, with a lot of problems at work.
Again, I've managed to divert my attention away from my life, and to that of those arround me. I went on a picnic with Caro today, making it the second since she gave me a picnic set for my birthday (It's awesome, and I will fight to the death anyone who says otherwise.) It was nice, but they're building houses right under our old spot, which is sad. At least it was already developed land. But it kinda sucks that they're making that spot less senic.
In order to distract you from the lack of actual content of that babble, I'm going to do a survey now.

1. The phone rings. Who do you want it to be?
Either my amazing girlfriend or someone I don't have to talk to long, I'd go with Caro of the two, though.

2. When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart?
Yes

3. If you had to kiss the last person you kissed, would you?
Again and again

4. Do you take compliments well?
Well? I don't try to shrug them off, and I don't take offense to them. On the other hand I'm arrogent as all hell, so they kinda go to my head.

5. Do you play Sudoko?
I mastered it at one point, then I stopped.

6. If abandoned alone in the wilderness, would you survive?
Yes

7. Do you like nipple rings?
Not really

8. Did you ever go to camp as a kid?
A lot

10. If a sexy person was pursuing you, but you knew he/she was married what would you do?
No. That's not okay with me.

12. Could you date someone with different religious beliefs than you?
If they don't try to make me believe theirs and aren't all preachy about it.

13. Do you like to pursue or be pursued?
Pursue

14. Use three words to describe yourself at the moment.
Smart, Happy, Sexy

15. Do any songs make you cry?
Not really, a few make me tear up a bit, but not so much.

16. Are you continuing your education?
Yep

17. Do you know how to shoot a gun?
Yes

18. If your house was on fire, what would be the first thing you grabbed?
First, I'd save any cats I could, baring that I'd grab Duck and my rainbow scarf, and whatever else I can find quickly that has sentimental value.

19. Who was the last person you shared a bed with?
Caro

20. Who do you text the most?
Caro

21. Favorite children's book?
I can lick 30 tigers today

22. What color are your eyes?
I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that I'm always wrong.

23. How tall are you?
5' 9.5"

25. If you could do it over again, start from scratch, would you?
No

26. Any secret admirers...
Undoubtedly.

27. Have you ever taken pictures in a photo booth?
Yes

28. When was the last time you were at Olive Garden?
I don't know

29. How cool is PS3?
Lame

30. Where was the furthest place you traveled?
Greece

32. Do you like mustard?
Yes

33. Do you prefer to sleep or eat?
Sleep

34. Do you look like your mom or dad?
Dad? I think.

35. How long does it take you in the shower?
Anywhere from 3 to 30 minuets.

36. Can you do splits?
Not really

37. What movie do you want to see right now?
I spent a while downloading advent children only to have it not work. I'd like to be watching it now.

39. What did you do for New Year's Eve?
I think I was at Caro's

40. Do you think The Grudge was crappy?
Never saw it

44. Was your mom a cheerleader?
Maybe, but I doubt it.

45. whats the last letter of your middle name?
N

46. What's your favorite CD?
Many choices. Maybe In My Own Words?

47. How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
anywhere between 5 and 10

48. Do you like care bears?
No!

49.
Your life is a flashback,
a question, a photograph.
A statement, a story, a struggle,
a chance to laugh.
Cause if you don't laugh you cry,
A last crescendo when you die.
So hit the rewind, and listen
to the playback,

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...
7.
1- You will never find anybody who can give you a clear and compelling reason why we observe daylight-savings time.

2- You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests you think she's pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment.

3- The most powerful force in the universe is gossip.

4- The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, or ethnic background, is that, deep down inside, we ALL believe that we are above-average drivers.

5- There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to make a big deal about your birthday. That time is age 11.

6- There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

7- People who want to share their religious views with you almost never want you to share yours with them.

8- If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be "meetings."

9- The main accomplishment of almost all organized protests is to annoy people who are not in them.

10- If there really is a God who created the entire universe with all of its glories, and He decides to deliver a message to humanity, He will not use, as His messenger, a person on cable TV with a bad hairstyle.

11- You should not confuse your career with your life.

12- A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person.

13- No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously.

14- When trouble arises and things look bad, there is always one individual who perceives a solution and is willing to take command. Very often, that individual is crazy.

15- Your friends love you, anyway.

16- Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.

Also, I have 40+ dollars to spend at the iTunes store, recommend me some music.

Everyone knows that dragons don't exist. But while this simplistic formulation may satisfy the layman, it does not suffice for the scientific mind. The School of Higer Neanitical Nillity is in fact wholly unconcerned with what does exist. Indeed, the banality of existence has been so amply demonstrated that there is no need for us to discuss it any further here. The brilliant Cerebron attacking the problem analytically discovered three distinct kinds of dragon: the mythical, the chimerical, and the purely hypothetical. They were all, as one might say, nonexistant, but each nonexisted in an entirely different way. And then there were the imaginary dragons, and tha a-, anti- and minus-dragons, (colloquially termed nots, noughts and oughtn'ts by the experts), the minuses being the most interesting on account of the well-known dracological paradox, when two minuses hypeprcontiguate (an opperation in the algebra of dragons corresponding roughly to simple multiplication), the product is 0.6 dragon, a real nonplusser. Bitter controversy raged among the experts on the question of whether, as half of them claimed, this fractional beast began from the head down or, as the other half maintained, from the tail up. Trurl and Klapaucius made a great contribution by showing the error of both positions. They were the first to apply probablity theory to this area and, in so doing, created the field of statistical draconics, which says that dragons are thermodynamically impossible only in the probabilistic sense, as are elves, fairies, gnomes, witches, pixies and the like. Using the general equation of improbability, the two constructors obtained the coefficients of pixation, elfinity, kobolding, ect. They found that for the spontaneous manifestation of an average dragon, one would have to wait a good sixteen quintoquadrillion heptillion years. In other words, the whole problem would have remained a mathematical curiosity had it not been for that famous tinkering passion of Trurl, who decided to texamine the nonphenomenon empirically.
(exerted from The Cyberiad by Stanislaw Lem)
